Takeaways from the State of Marketing and PR

Insights on priorities, budget and collaboration between marketing and PR from C-suite leaders

    We surveyed almost 200 leaders in the marketing and communications industry to better understand how they view their roles and what they think about the future of the industry. Here are some of the main insights:

    • 68% of leaders say their roles blend both marketing and communications, pointing to a growing trend of multifunctional leadership.
    • Around 70% of leaders agree that broadening reach and share of voice ranks among their top priorities. 
    • 42% of marketing leaders and 49% of marcom leaders are optimistic about budget increases, contrasted with only 30% of communications leaders expecting similar growth.
